1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Stravia Marketing ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects personal information. This policy applies to our own website and all websites provided via our SaaS (Software as a Service) platform to our clients ("Renters"). We are committed to complying with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

2. Our Role

  • On our Agency Site: we act as the Agency (the primary collector of your data).
  • On Rented (SaaS) Sites: we act as a Data Processor. We provide the secure infrastructure and storage for the Renter to interact with their customers.

3. Information We Collect

We collect personal information that you choose to provide via contact forms, including:

  • Identity Data: Name and contact details (email/phone).
  • Enquiry Data: The content of any messages sent through the platform.
  • Technical Data: IP addresses and browsing behaviour collected via Google Analytics and Meta Pixels (non-essential tracking is blocked until you provide consent via our on-site banner).

4. How We Protect Your Data (The Standard)

We implement high-level security measures across our entire network:

  • Encrypted Transmission: All email notifications from our platform are sent via AWS SES with Forced TLS 1.2+ encryption. We do not allow data to be transmitted over insecure connections.
  • Secure Storage: Personal data is stored in password-protected environments (SQLite/JSON) on New Zealand-managed infrastructure.
  • Access Control: Access to data is strictly limited to the authorised Renter and our administrative staff for technical maintenance and security auditing.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Data is shared only with essential service providers (e.g., AWS for email delivery) or as required by New Zealand law.

6. Your Rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to request a copy of your personal information and to ask for it to be corrected or deleted.

  • If you submitted data through a Rented Site, please contact that business directly or email us.
  • We respond to all verified privacy requests within 20 working days.
