Your domain name is your address online. It needs renewing on time and setting up correctly so your website and email work. I register it for you, keep it renewed and look after the DNS settings, so you never have to log in to a registrar.
A domain I register for you belongs to you. If you ever want it transferred, I move it to you straight away, once any registration time I have already paid for is covered.
If you already have a domain, I point it at your new site and make sure your email keeps working while I do. Extra domains, like one for your email or a similar name to protect your brand, can sit on the same account.
Your domain's registration shows in your client portal, so you can check it is in good standing at any time.
